Do you need planning permission to install a conservatory?
Not every conservatory will require planning permission. You CAN build a conservatory or single-storey extension without planning permission if: 1) It is a maximum height of 4m high or 3m high (if within 2m of a boundary). 2) The conservatory does not cover more than half the garden. 3) The roof ridge or top point is not higher than the eaves of a property’s roof.
How do we arrange planning permission?
Fairview will take the necessary hassle away and apply for planning permission as part of our services provided.
Do you provide a guarantee?
Yes, we offer a manufacturers full 10 year guarantee.
Do I need structural calculations?
Some of our conservatories will require Structural calculations. Fairview will offer this as part of our services.
Will I need building regs for a solid roof instulation?
If your conservatory already exists, you don’t need planning permission because you aren’t building anything. However, you do need to ensure your roof complies with building regulations. So yes, you need to consider building regulations on a conservatory, as well as any other adaptation to your home. Fairview will undertake all aspects of this.
